The project,”we have the ability to live forever (but do we want to)” began in May 2010 and is ongoing. The images are recorded via basic cell phone and uploaded and unedited.

The project initially intended to poke fun at the current societal influx of inane digital imagery and has developed into an exploration between and around the terms irony and pastiche. The changes in levels of sincerity that are lost and gained by breaching these boundaries and by overextending them.

Is to be too often ironically over-dramatic, just dramatic or to what degree is its sincerity?
